The Recycling Committee was established in FY1993 as a forum for discussing common issues related to environmental projects such as the waste disposal business and recycling business of members of the Japan Mining Industry Association in general
 

 Each company utilizes nonferrous mining and smelting technology cultivated over many years to address the environmental business, contributing to conservation of the global environment and construction of a recycling-oriented society.
